Dokomi in Düsseldorf is one of Germany’s biggest anime and gaming conventions. In 2022 and 2023, GameCatering was on site handling trade show and stage construction, sound and lighting, and on-site live production for programme areas of the convention.
Our camera operators captured stage programme, show acts and community performances, while the live stream brought the content to fans outside the hall. On top of that came talent management: coordinating hosts, guests and acts, keeping to the run-of-show, and making sure transitions between programme slots stayed clean.
These two editions laid the groundwork for a close partnership with Dokomi. In 2024, GameCatering took on the full convention production with several stages running in parallel.
