With the Wächtersbacher Masters, GameCatering ran the first FIFA tournament at the Messe Wächtersbach trade fair in 2022 – an analogue consumer fair meeting digital competition. The aim was a programme highlight that draws younger visitors to the fair and gives exhibitors a new stage.
We built the tournament stage in the exhibition hall, administered the tournament from registration to the final, and handled live production with cameras, show-calling and screens for the on-site audience. Hosts and casters came from our talent pool.
For Messe Wächtersbach, we also delivered the sponsor presentation on stage and screens and brought in influencers from the FIFA scene who covered the tournament on their channels. The sequel followed in 2023 with the Wächtersbacher Masters 2.0.
